From 1990s beauty to unrecognizable today

If you were a fan of the long-running TV show Dynasty, then you remember the stunning actress behind the character of Sammy Jo Carrington.

This role helped Heather Locklear rise to stardom and become a fan-favorite. Today, she can brag with quite a career in the world of film.

Today, Locklear is 61 and although she looks stunning, she doesn’t resemble her old self.

Recently, she was photographed with her fiance Chris Heisser, and many agree that her appearance changed drastically, with some saying they haven’t even recognized her.

The couple was spotted shopping at an antique mall in Agoura Hills, California, not far from her $4.8 million home.

Locklear and Heisser got engaged in April 2020, and the actress says she’s not in a hurry to get married. Her fiance is her high-school sweetheart.

“I’m like, ‘You’re my man for the rest of my life, whether we get married or not,’ ” she shared with People in October 2020.

“[A wedding] is so not important. We’re together, and we love each other and support each other. And really that’s all that matters.”

Locklear is a mother to one daughter, Ava, whom she had with her second husband, Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora.

Previously, she was married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, whom she divorced in 1993.

Locklear and Richie tied the knot in 1994 in a private civil ceremony in New Jersey. Their formal wedding took place in Paris, and the Melrose Place star wore a candlelight white gown designed by Nolan Miller, who also designed the lavish costumes for Dynasty.

The couple stayed together for 13 years before calling it quits. As of Ava, being a child of two celebs was quite a ride. When she was young, she could often be seen on stage during the Bon Jovi concerts. Sometimes, she would introduce them to the audience and she even danced with the members while they performed.

We are glad Heather Locklear was able to overcome the difficulties in her life and stay sober after battling substance and alcohol abuse.
