In a poignant revelation, actor Liam Neeson shared his enduring connection with his late wife, Natasha Richardson, who tragically passed away in 2009 following a ski accident. Despite the years, Neeson’s love remains undiminished, as he confesses, “We still talk every day, me and Natasha. Every day.”
I speak to her every day at her grave, which is about a mile and a half down the road. I go down there quite often, so I do speak to her as if she’s here. Not that she answers me,” the Sun reports.
Neeson previously gushed over Natasha during an interview with 60 Minutes, saying he ‘never had that kind of an explosive chemistry situation with an actor, or actress.’
She died from an epidural hematoma, a bleed on the brain, and in a statement, the family said they were “shocked and devastated” by what happened.
More than a decade on, when Liam was offered the part in Made In Italy, director James D’Arcy feared getting a furious response from the star.
Earlier this month, he told Metro that he believed the casting would be “either a work of genius… or a disaster”.
Mr D’Arcy was concerned that he would “get a very insulting note back” from Liam’s agent because “everybody knows what happened to his wife”
