Jackie Chan is an incredibly well-loved movie star. He is known for his martial arts prowess that he displays in his movies. Recently, a clip of him with his ‘daughter’ went viral and had hearts melting.

But the reality of the situation has now come out, and it is shocking…

Recently a video of Jackie Chan went viral on social media. In the video, he stands next to a woman who seems to be his daughter as they watch old videos of him performing stunts in movies. His daughter gets emotional and says he is the best, which prompts Chan to tear up as well. People on social media adored the video, saying it was so sweet to see the father-daughter moment.

But the truth has now come out.

The scene is not with his daughter but with actress Liu Haocun. The scene was from his recent movie “Ride On.” In his real life, his daughter named, Etta Ng Chok Lam and him are estranged.

She has gone on the record and stated that her father had abandoned her, which allegedly has to do with her being a lesbian11-year-old boy bullied by teacher in front of classmates for having two dads.

Jackie Chan had Etta out of wedlock. She says he has not contact with her for several years. She revealed that at times, she was destitute and had to live on the streets as well, despite the fact that her father’s net worth is in the millions.

Chan conceived Etta with beauty pageant queen Elaine Ng Yi-lei. He was involved in an extra-marital affair with the pageant queen which resulted in fathering Etta in 1999. He has been married to his wife Joan Lin since 1982.

He said of his affair, “I’m not a saint. I’ve done something wrong. I’ve done something that many men in the world have done. Maybe it was a moment of playfulness.”

What makes matters more complex is that Etta has accused her father of being homophobic, which is why he refuses to have any relationship with her.

When the movie clip went viral with it being posed as genuine, a lot of people immediately got upset and revealed the true story.

As for Jackie Chan himself, he has not addressed his daughter Etta’s allegations against him. The most recent accusations came in 2018. And Chan has also not said anything over the viral clip of him being mistaken for authentic and garnered a lot of goodwill for him.
