The young girl performs “The Sound of SiIence”, leaving people suspect if this is really her singing…

Jadyn Rylee is a young girl with a remarkable voice. She posted a performance of “The Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel in 2017, when she was barely 11 years old. Paul Simon wrote the song in 1964, and in October of that same year, the duo included it on their album “Wednesday Morning 3 a.m.”

Together with another young girl playing the drums named Sina, Jadyn presented her rendition of the legendary tune. They had a chance to become well-known all over the world because to the vast reach of the YouTube platform. The uploaded video quickly became popular on the internet. Thousands of thousands of viewers all across the world were greatly affected by the young performer.

Jadyn takes a seat in front of a microphone with a dark backdrop to start the performance. The stark presentation has a significant effect. A small bit of reverb has been applied to Jordan’s pleasant-sounding voice, which brings to mind the sentimental tone of the traditional folk song. It was instantly clear that she was not just a typical young person trying to sing.

Jadyn’s voice is exquisite and could complement just about any song, but the smooth, mellow tone of the Simon and Garfunkel song was perfect for her. She displays more composure and confidence in the video than a typical 11-year-old would. After a brief period of Jadyn singing, a split-screen shot of her young drummer accompanist is shown.

The song gains much greater impact when Sina’s playing is included in the performance because she exhibits extraordinary talent for her age.
