At just 23, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos‘ daughter, Lola, is already turning heads on social media…

The young brunette – who some say is the spitting image of her famous mother – showed off her glowing skin and beach-ready style with a sultry Instagram post.

While some praised Lola for the stunning photo, others found it a bit inappropriate.

Lola shared glimpses of her day at the beach through an Instagram carousel. One of the standout photos featured her lying face down on a towel in a chic olive green bikini, surrounded by lush greenery.

Along with her beach photos, she posted several images of a faded sunset and a black dune buggy on which Lola had placed a blue T-shirt with a cheeky phrase.

But it was the topless photo that sparked the most discussion. In the image, Lola lounged topless, strategically covering her chest with a towel but leaving her tanned back exposed. Her caption, “Is this demure?” — a playful reference to a phrase that recently went viral online — stirred mixed reactions from social media users.

Some followers took issue with the topless photo, believing it was not in line with the word “demure.”

One user responded directly to Lola’s caption, saying: “Considering that demure means modesty, then no, this is very much not modest nor demure.”

Another added: “Maybe I don’t get it. I say why because you have a cute girl with her song. Why that pic? Maybe I’m too old-fashioned — sorry.”

Others saw Lola’s post as attention-seeking, with one person commenting: “Ahhh the life of the privileged… 🎶.”

Another accused her of being “really hard up for publicity.”

Despite the criticism, many fans came to Lola’s defense, applauding her for embracing her beauty and self-expression. “Omg she is beautiful, talented, not showing anything. Why [are] any questions asked[?] Demure and beautiful youth! Enjoy it!” commented one fan.

Another chimed in, pointing out the resemblance to her famous mother: “Your profile in [the] second photo looks just [like] your mom!”

Kelly Ripa also weighed in on her daughter’s post, offering her support with the comment: “It’s very mindful,” also in reference to a phrase that has gone viral of late. Both Kelly and Lola’s father, Mark Consuelos, have shown consistent support for their daughter’s artistic ventures, including her burgeoning music career.

Lola released her debut single, Paranoia Silverlining, and discussed how her parents’ support played a significant role, despite their limited knowledge of the music industry.

In a 2022 interview with People, she said: “They really don’t know what they’re talking about […] when it comes to music. So it’s very sweet to see them do their posts here and there and their little videos. They made a music video yesterday in the pool!”

According to Lola, her parents’ approval meant even more because of their honesty. “My parents are the last people to sugarcoat anything when it comes to my singing,” she revealed. “So when I saw they had a good reaction and liked it, I felt reassured.”
