Following the untimely death of Ana Orsini, one of their cherished team members, KOLD-TV in Arizona is currently in shock and grief.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, December 17, her colleague, KOLD-TV anchor Tyler Butler, reported that the 28-year-old news anchor tragically died last week from a brain aneurysm.

Life is brittle, and things can change drastically at any time. We have lost Ana Orsini, the beloved and youthful news anchor of KOLD-TV.
On Tuesday, December 17, Tyler Butler, an anchor for KOLD-TV, reported on Facebook that the 28-year-old Arizona news anchor had passed away due to a brain aneurysm. When a blood vessel in the brain weakens and swells, it may burst, causing a brain aneurysm with serious, frequently fatal outcomes.
Sudden, severe headaches, nausea, blurred vision, and even unconsciousness are possible symptoms. Early detection and medical intervention are essential since a ruptured aneurysm can result in strokes, brain damage, or death if left untreated.
Ana, who was well-known for her fondness for platform Uggs and peanut butter M&Ms, died suddenly last week.
Another KOLD-TV anchor, Tyler Butler, posted on Facebook, saying, “It’s so horrible, so sudden.”
Ana was a natural force. Sometimes I would make a joke that made fun of myself, and she would yell, “Hey! Don’t say that about my friend! He went on, “We will miss her sincere concern for everyone around her.”

Ana Orsini started working as a journalist at a Lubbock, Texas, news station. She moved from the mountains to the plains after growing up in Denver, Colorado, and earned her degree from Texas A&M University in 2018.
She covered everything from large wildfires to assisting shelter animals in finding permanent homes during her three years as a morning and lunchtime anchor in Medford, Oregon.
She was well-known at KOLD-TV for her “bottomless empathy” and for constantly defending “the little guy.” She enjoyed listening to true crime podcasts and had a strong interest in animal rescue.
On Monday, December 16, her coworkers at the Tucson CBS affiliate broke the news of her passing.
During a tearful show, Tyler Butler and Carsyn Currier shared the sad news: “Our beloved friend and co-anchor Ana Orsini passed away unexpectedly last week.”
Co-anchor Carsyn Currier broke down as she remarked, “We are devastated by this loss. Ana has been here at 13 News since June of 2023.”
“I’ve never met anyone like her.”
Butler and Currier are among those who are grieving Ana’s passing.
Butler commented on Facebook, “She was really unique.” She had a wonderful and sardonic sense of humor, was devoted to her family, and was crazy about rescuing animals. She talked about her family constantly since she loved them. I’m happy to have contributed in any way to her work family.

Currier remembered Ana on Instagram as a friend who made it much simpler for them to get up in the middle of the night for their early duties.
Currier posted a series of pictures of the two anchors with the caption, “Ana was not only beautiful, talented, and hilarious, but she was unlike anyone I’ve ever met.” Knowing Ana was the same as loving her. She gave everyone around her a sense of being heard, understood, and special.
Currier went on to say, “She was the best dog mom to her baby boy, Harley, and a proud sister and daughter.” “Sister, rest in peace. I swear to continue living life to the fullest for YOU.
In a heartfelt ode to his colleague, anchor Dan Marries wrote, “There are special people that come into our lives that will have an everlasting impact, and Ana Orsini was one of them.” “Ana, you were one in a million; smart, kind, quick-witted, wise beyond your years, and filled with a contagious love for animals, especially dogs.”
