They blocked off the road after realizing what this Elephant was Carrying with its Trunk, No way he was carrying this

A viral video posted by Parveen Kaswan, a forest ranger, shows Indian elephants performing a human-like funeral ritual for a baby elephant. In the footage, an adult elephant is seen emerging from the bushes carrying the body of the deceased baby elephant in its trunk.

The adult then lays the body down and stands guard, waiting for other elephants to arrive. The group forms a solemn procession, surrounding the baby elephant, and the original elephant lifts the body once more, with others following behind.

This touching display of mourning has left social media users deeply moved, garnering over 5,000 retweets and 12,000 likes on Twitter.

Elephants have long been known to grieve their dead in ways similar to humans, and this emotional funeral march highlights their profound social bonds and empathy. The video serves as a powerful reminder of the emotional depth of these majestic creatures.
