After discovering that 52-year-old actress Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, fans were taken aback by a new snapshot of her.

Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis back in 2021 as she was filming the final season of her show.

Applegate was also honest about the physical transformation she’s experienced as a result of MS, sharing, ’’I gained 40 lb because of inactivity and medications.’’

Applegate wore a full-length tuxedo dress made of velvet. She also held a cane to assist with the balance problems caused by the disease.
