Things Men Notice First When Looking at a Woman

You may sometimes wonder what men think when they notice you on the street. You’ve often heard the common beliefs that men first look at specific physical attributes like your butt and breasts. Well, according to scientists, men pay attention to entirely different things, and those things don’t always concern your body. If you want to get an insight into men’s minds and understand their first thoughts when you see each other, then continue reading! You might be quite surprised to find out that men are not what a lot of women take for granted!

1. Eyes
A common thing men notice first about a woman is her eyes. You’ve probably heard that the eyes are the windows to your soul. They can tell us a lot about a person. It’s often easy to figure out if someone is lying or telling the truth by looking into their eyes. Eyes are real magnets that can attract and intrigue a stranger.

Surveys show that nearly 70% of men pay attention to a woman’s eyes first and only then to everything else. So don’t believe that it’s always the chest that grabs their attention! Complimenting a woman’s eyes is easier for men since women respond very approvingly to compliments about their eyes rather than other parts of the body.

2. Hair
Long, healthy, and shiny hair can’t go unnoticed. Good hair condition is a sign of youth and good health! Some say that blonde girls are more attractive to men, but this is not entirely true. Women of all hair colors have the same chance. Men have different preferences; some prefer blondes because they appear more delicate and innocent, almost like angels. Others search for brunettes, claiming they look more mysterious.

Redheads also have their own charm because they look seductive and wild! Men notice how you style your hair, and if it looks unkempt and greasy, it definitely loses its appeal. Instead of frequently dyeing your hair to look different, invest in good moisturizing shampoos and conditioners and take proper care of your hair. This effort will pay off, and he’ll be enchanted by your shiny, healthy-looking hair.

3. Skin
Most men also pay attention to the way a woman’s skin looks. Numerous surveys have shown that a good complexion is seen as a sure sign of health. Men tend to think that a woman with a healthy-looking complexion is healthy and can produce healthy offspring.

4. Smile
A smiling woman signals that men don’t have to hesitate and can start a conversation! A woman with a pleasant smile suggests a good nature, kindness, and a sense of humor. Who wouldn’t want to date such a person? A smile works like a magnet drawing attention to your positive outlook. Laughter is contagious, making people around you feel better! Even if you are shy, don’t hesitate to smile at a guy. You don’t need to say anything; a smile welcomes interaction.

Some women say they rarely smile because of their teeth. They believe their teeth are crooked or not white enough. Well, this is not a good excuse, ladies! Commercials promote a perfect smile, often photoshopped for hours, which is not always an attainable standard. Most men don’t have strict criteria requiring them to date only women who look like models. They, too, have imperfections and will understand yours.

5. Dressing Style
Surprisingly, most men do notice a woman’s dressing style. A recent study found that men prefer a classy dresser over someone who reveals too much skin. Men love some mystery about women, while a half-naked body reveals all the secrets. A great sense of style can tell a lot about you. Keep it in mind! Your perfume and makeup reflect your taste, while your heels and accessories reveal your lifestyle and sophistication.
