Taylor Swift’s makeup causes controversy at Chiefs game

Pop star Taylor Swift is no stranger to making headlines – whether it’s for her fashion or her appearances at boyfriend Travis Kelce‘s NFL games.

This time, however, she’s made headlines for her makeup look during a recent appearance at Arrowhead Stadium during the Kansas City Chiefs‘ game.

Donning a plaid dress and chic black boots, it was one sparkling detail that caused debate online.

Swift, 34, showed up to the game sporting glitter freckle patches, created by beauty brand Fazit, beneath her eyes, drawing significant online attention.

Some social media users were quick to criticize the look. One Instagrammer questioned: “Is she 15?” while another X user commented: “Taylor Swift is a 35-year-old woman that acts like she’s in high school.”

Similarly, a third user remarked: “She is a bit mature in age for glitter freckles.”

However, Swift’s fans quickly came to her defense. One person responded: “You can wear that at 65. Age is just a number. Who cares,” while others admired her style.

“Taylor looks stunningly beautiful,” gushed one fan, with another praising her “sparkle face” as lovely.

Despite the debate over her age and style choices, some observers speculated that her appearance might be enhanced by cosmetic procedures. “The filler is fillering,” one comment read, while another questioned whether Swift had received “Botox and fillers.”

However, some simply stated: “Her face looks old here,” prompting further discussion about her appearance.

Swift’s glitter freckle patches also caught the attention of Fazit co-owner Aliett Buttelman, who shared her excitement on Instagram. In an emotional video, she exclaimed: “Is life real?! Like, I just literally stopped sobbing,” while showing Swift wearing the patches on TV at the game.

Even NFL player Jason Kelce noticed Swift’s look, mentioning her during an ESPN broadcast. After talking about his brother, Travis Kelce, he commented: “Hey, look at that now. She’s got the part on right there. That looks good,” in reference to her unique glitter makeup.

Although Swift’s bold beauty statement stirred mixed reactions online, one thing’s for sure – she always knows how to keep people talking!
