Four Dead After Helicopter Collision Near Sea World

A tragic mid-air collision near Sea World on Australia’s Gold Coast left four people dead and three critically injured.

Video taken by a passenger shows a tourist tapping the pilot’s shoulder in warning before

“glass shatters over the passengers” as the helicopters collide.

The Moment of Impact

In the 15-second clip, a passenger points toward the other helicopter before the collision.

The pilot of one aircraft managed to land safely on a sandbank,

saving several lives despite shattered glass and chaos inside the cabin.

Survivors Speak Out

Two New Zealand couples on board said they were “completely devastated”

that a “fun 5-minute joy ride… turned into a nightmare.”

They expressed sorrow for the victims and gratitude to rescuers, saying, “We saw mateship in action.”

Victims Remembered

Among the four killed were the pilot, a 36-year-old mother, and a British couple visiting Australia.
