The mother of a one-year-old girl brought her to the hospital since it was obvious that her health had gotten worse.
The girl had a severe type of meningitis, the doctors told her. The child’s kidneys soon failed, and she was kept artificially alive while in a coma.
The young child was only kept alive by machines, thus her odds of survival were nil. The girl’s mother, Jennifer, made the decision to give her organs to other children who required them for survival.
Jennifer then got ready to bid her angel farewell. She held his infant in her arms, kissed her on the forehead, caressed her hair, and wondered how she would manage to live a life without her.
“I attempted to express my love for her, hoping that she would hear and comprehend me. Even though I was in shock, I continued to speak to her as if nothing had occurred. It seemed unbelievable. She started to feel warm to me, and I could see her cheeks blushing. She appeared to be dozing off, the woman told the Daily Mail.
“I laid down next to her and told her I was proud of her since she had worked so hard to achieve her goals. She would pass away that morning, the doctors informed me, and they would switch off the machine because she wouldn’t survive. I tried to convince myself that she had already passed away and that all that remained was her corpse, but it didn’t work,” the lady said.
“All of a sudden, they turned off everything, and Alice was on her bed. After giving her morphine, they abandoned her, her father, and I on our own. So I went over to her and gave her a kiss. “I couldn’t believe she was about to die because I could feel the warmth of her body,” she added.
Jennifer had a gut instinct that her little daughter wouldn’t pass away. However, what followed is truly miraculous—Alice survived.
She started to breathe on her own when the machine that had been keeping her alive stopped. Her mother and father both struggled to accept the fact that their daughter was still alive.
