When politicians and activists brand ICE and Border Patrol as villains, some supporters eventually act as if attacking them is noble, even necessary. That’s how you end up with agitators tailing federal vehicles, blowing whistles to expose agents, and physically striking SUVs in the middle of an operation.

Through it all, the agents stayed focused, issuing warnings, offering basic courtesies, and only using force when activists crossed the line into criminal behavior.
