She quipped, “I’m pregnant! We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility so we’re giving them each a baby to take care of! Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!! Twin Delivery coming soon!”
Another picture showed the “Precious” actress looking sideward while holding her baby bump. Further embracing the whirlwind of joy, Sidibe emphasized in a Babylist post that she was expecting twins. “We planned for one, we got two,” she and Frankel said.
Sidibe further noted that her unborn twins have already had the unique experience of attending two Beyoncé concerts. This lighthearted detail added a fun twist to their announcement, showcasing the couple’s vibrant life and the adventures that await their growing family.
Sidibe and Frankel got engaged in 2020, revealing the announcement on social media. In his post, Frankel revealed that he asked his best friend to be his wife, to which she gave her sweet yes.
“So excited to spend the rest of my life with the most amazing, hilarious, beautiful, and inspiring woman I’ve ever known. I couldn’t imagine a life without you,” he wrote in the post, alongside a video of Sidibe showing off her sparkling ring.
Two years later, on March 21, they finally tied the knot and became husband and wife. Frankel again documented the special moment on Instagram, praising his wife.
The duo have since been raising cats together, sharing some of their private moments as fur parents with the public. In one share, the two documented a behind-the-scenes look during a photoshoot with their cats.
